* On December 28 Tyra had a litter of six puppies (3+3). The whelping went well and mum and babies are doing great. Breeder is Mr Johnny Davies in the UK and any inquiries about the litter should be sent to him.

* 16/12 Stockholm Int Winter Show, Nordic Winner Show. Lots of Enigmas shown this weekend - thanks to all our puppy buyers for coming to the show and thanks to everyone that helped out with handling!

Inez and her littermates made their official debute this weekend only passing nine months of age with a few days. Inez won the junior class with champion quality and thereby also the Nordic Junior Winner title (NordJV-07)! Later in the day Spike won third best male and the CC and Tage was fifth best male. Our bitches did well three of them placing in the top five! Vega was BOS with the Nordic Winner title (NordV-07), Enya coming in as second best bitch (although winner of the large champion class!!) and Saga fifth best bitch. Primus and Zäta were also awarded champion quality.

Enigma had BOB breeders group with a wonderful critique by judge Keke Khan from the USA, "Exceptional! Never in the world have I seen prettier Pharaohs. It might be a while I see prettier ones, it might be never. Congratulations!". Vega's progeny group with Spike, Vilda, Meia and Inez was BOB and made the last cut in BIS. The critique on this group was not bad either! "They look like peas in a pod! Lovely breed type. They obviously like to show. Beautifully fronted and headed dogs. Moves similarly. Congratulations!"

In basenjis Viggo was third in a large junior class with prize of honour. Harley was second best male with CC so the one that really did well for us today was Russin who won BOS with CC from junior class winning both the Nordic Winner title and the Nordic Junior Winner title!

Viggo, Pajaz, Russin and Harley also participated in dad Viking's progeny group who won BOB and in my opinion looked super!

Primus was also enterd to this show and he was third best male with R-CACIB! Primus really gives a meaning to the words happy and lively ;)

Nahla came in second with her third CC making her a Lure Coursing champion thus a dual champion! Zäta was fourth and Saga sixth. In our second breed we had Paris entered and she was leading after the first run and kept her lead through the second run and won BOB. This would have made her a lure coursing champion if basenjis could compete for this title in Sweden...

I didn't get to the basenji judging in time so Harley had a day off. On Saturday Pharaohs and Basenjis had the same ringtime again so I missed the Pharaoh judging this day. Harley went BOB and was in the last cut in the group but not placed. I am actually quite pleased anyway because, believe it or not, he actually trotted nicely almost all the way in the group!

On Sunday SSUK (spitz & primitive types) had a specialty at the same show grounds. We met Viggo for the first time since he left our home at eight weeks of age and it was great seeing this beautiful boy who is now five months old. He went BOB puppy and finished as BIS-2!

Harley has now been to a total of three shows in offical class. Today he won his third BOB and CC. Unfortunatley he has made a habbit of destroying every chance of a group placement as he enters the group ring pulling the lead and acting like a maniac... Well, he's young and hopefully he'll grow out of it. Other than that he showed great today!

* 2006 in a short summary. Another great year to say the least. Vega had a litter of very promising puppies in May and despite this she managed to make her way to the very top and finished the year as #1 - TOP PHARAOH HOUND 2006. Some of her very nice wins this year include BOB and BIS-4 at the big Sighthound Summer Show, BOS at the Pharaoh Hound Specialty, BIS-R in Öland and BOB and Group-2 at the Swedish Winner Show in Stockholm. She was also BOS at the World Winner Show in Poland. Her sister Zäta became a Swedish Lure Coursing Champion also making her a dual champion. Nahla completed her International champion title and she also won her first LC CC. Mellon and Bruce completed their national champion titles and Nairos got several new titles... Michael won his first two CC's in the UK and Djet won his first Best In Field in the US. Glimma was shown the first half of 2006 and with this limited amount of showing she finished the year as #2 top Pharaoh Hound bitch.

Enya was imported in May and has since then won twelve CC's. She was also BOB junior at the World Show in Poland. Isak was exported to Australia and Kaleb to Italy, both have done extremely well in the puppy classes. All the other puppies are also looking very promising and has done very well at puppy shows, and Dyrka even managed a BIS-1 baby at a Sighthound Club show.

Paris completed her champion title on her first show after becoming two years old, after that she has won two BOB this summer. Harley won almost everything this summer which gave him the spot as TOP BASENJI PUPPY. He won six BIS-1 Puppy at KC shows which is a record.

Many other Enigma's have also done very well at lure coursing and in the showring and we are grateful to all of you who take pride in showing your Enigma Pharaoh Hound and caring so well for them. Thank you all!
